SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 – easier way of getting CU3 into your TS

While looking around today, I saw this

This method is much nicer than the "copy the patch over the call it in the sccm setup command line" method....

It is simply

• Obtain the hotfix or CU you wish to include (http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2994331 for CU3 - current at time of writing)
• Create a "ClientPatch" directory under Clienti386 and Clientx64
• Copy in the appropriate MSP's for each platform
• Update the package(s)

Apparently this method has been around for a while - but is unsupported.
